Robin,

I just happened across your site while searching for images showing different number styles used in stained glass transoms. I was born in Baltimore back in 1950 and grew up on the west side of town. I've always admired the beauty of stained glass transoms on city houses since childhood. Our own house back in the 1950s on Poplar Grove St. had a stained glass window on the side where our reception hall was located. After a job transfer with employer BG&E to southern MD in the early 1980s, my wife and I moved to St. Mary's Co., and I missed seeing the colorful and ornate charms of my old hometown.

I just wanted to comment on your beautiful, artistic work, and so glad someone is trying to preserve as much of old Baltimore's charm as possible through replacement stained glass windows. Too much of it's irreplacable residential architecture has been lost to urban blight and demolition.

I've just got started trying my hand at a glass project - making a window panel nearly identical to the one I remember in our home as a young child. Using a Google Maps street view image of the design and my older sister's memory of the colors from inside the house, I'm trying to re-create it and I'll be very happy if it turns out even half as nice as your work.
